Milton Springers Gymnastics Club is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Women’s Artistic coach to join our growing team beginning in July of the 2017/2018 season. The ideal candidate will complement our existing staff, assisting in the programming and continued development of all of our women’s artistic programs ranging from the developmental ages right up to our elite levels.
Milton Springers Gymnastics Club was recognized in 2015 as Gymnastics Ontario’s Club of the Year. We are proud of our 43 year history as the premier gymnastics club in Milton. Our club has grown over those years from a small annual membership to well over 2,500 members, putting us in the top 8 in club size in Ontario.
Milton Springers is a not-for-profit organization, governed by a parent run board and operated on a day-to-day basis by a full-time General Manager and administrative staff that provides support to the recreation and competitive programs. The club is very active & always busy! We are community oriented and dedicated to staff development and training opportunities with the mutual goal of providing quality gymnastics training to all participants at all levels—recreation for all, Women’s Artistic Developmental, Junior Olympic Levels 2-10 and an Elite Women’s Artistic program.
We are excited for the vast number of opportunities that are open to the athletes and coaches at Milton Springers and are looking for dedicated, ambitious and motivated career-minded individuals to join our team with the following qualifications:
- NCCP Level 3 Certification or International equivalent
- Experience in coaching Developmental athletes up to high level Provincial and/or National level athletes
- Ability to focus on coaching and spotting Vault, Bars and Tumbling an asset.
- Risk Management certification and First Aid or willing to obtain
- Well organized, good communicator, motivator and team player
- Most of all--possess a passion for gymnastics, a desire to always improve your knowledge and a love for working with children!
Salary/Hourly rate is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
