Canada Adds 11 Event Finals Medals to Close Out Pan American Championships

Ottawa, ON (June 22, 2026) – Canada finished the 2026 Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by capturing 11 medals across the event finals. Following strong performances in the team and all-around competitions, Canadian gymnasts added 11 more podium finishes to cap off an outstanding week of competition. 

Seven Medals for Senior Athletes 

On the women’s side, Aurélie Tran claimed the Pan American title on uneven bars with a score of 13.533. Lia-Monica Fontaine followed with a silver medal on vault after scoring 14.249, while Lia Redick added another silver on floor with a score of 13.400. 

In the men’s competition, William Émard captured the gold medal on rings with a score of 13.766. Jordan Carroll earned silver on pommel horse with 14.500, while Félix Dolci claimed the bronze medal on rings with a score of 13.500 and tied for bronze on high bar after scoring 14.033. 

Juniors Add Four More Podiums 

Among the junior women, Nikita Théodat tied for gold on floor with a score of 12.900. On the men’s side, Jaydon De Silva shared gold in a three-way tie on floor with a score of 13.166. Thomas Tittley also enjoyed a strong day, winning gold on rings with a score of 12.266 before adding bronze on high bar with the same mark. 

Canadian Wrap-Up 

Canada leaves Rio de Janeiro with a total of 18 medals earned across the team, all-around and event finals competitions. The performances of both the senior men’s and women’s teams also secured qualification to the 2026 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, set to take place October 17–25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
