Ottawa, ON (September 28, 2026) – Gymnastics Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent Canada at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from October 17–25.
Men’s Artistic Gymnastics
Five Canadian athletes will compete in the men’s competition: Félix Dolci (QC), William Émard (QC), René Cournoyer (QC), Sam Zakutney (QC), and Jordan Carroll (SK), with Xavier Olasz (QC) joining the team as the travelling alternate.
The team will be supported by team coach Adrian Balan, coaches Kader Mecellem and Jean-Sébastien Tougas, integrated support team (IST) member Rachel Gauthier, and judges James Goulet and Jérome Boisteau.
Women’s Artistic Gymnastics
Five Canadian athletes will compete in the women’s competition: Ellie Black (NS), Gabrielle Black (NS), Coralie Demers (QC), Lia-Monica Fontaine (QC), and Lia Redick (ON), with Zoe Tsaprailis (QC) joining the team as the travelling alternate.
The team will be supported by team coaches Claude Pelletier and Olena Yermolchuk, personal coaches Amanda Kikuchi, David Kikuchi, and Pierre Privé, integrated support team (IST) members Cyrille Brindamour and Martha Purdy, and judges Tracey Anderson and Sheri Wilson.
