Ottawa, ON (October 5, 2026) – Team Canada wrapped up a successful weekend at the 2026 FIG Trampoline World Cup in Riccione, Italy, earning two silver medals in synchronised trampoline competition.
The World Cup held October 3–4, brought together many of the world’s top trampoline athletes as the international season continues toward the World Championships in Nanjing, China, in November.
Canada’s first medal came in the women’s synchronised final, where Sophiane Méthot (QC) and Sarah Milette (QC) delivered a strong performance to earn silver with a score of 48.960.
Milette returned to the podium in the mixed synchronised final alongside Étienne Cloutier (QC). The Canadian pair earned another silver medal for Canada with a score of 50.240.


Méthot also represented Canada in the women’s individual final, finishing eighth with a score of 52.050. She also successfully completed a triple back pike for the first time, marking another milestone in her competition season.
The Riccione World Cup marked the fifth stop of the 2026 FIG Trampoline World Cup series, with the final World Cup of the season set to take place in Cottbus, Germany, from October 17–18.
