OTTAWA, ON (May 21, 2025) – Canada’s trampoline athletes delivered solid performances over the past weekend at the 2025 Trampoline Senior Pan American Championships held at Polideportivo Merliot in Ciudad Merliot, El Salvador on May 16th – 18th 2025.
Women’s Trampoline
The Canadian Senior Women competed in individual qualifications on the first day of competition. Kalena Soehn led the charge for the Canadian team in 6th place with a score of 51.585, earning her spot in the Individual Trampoline final. Gabriella Flynn finished in 10th place with a final score of 51.040, just missing out on qualifying for the Individual Trampoline Finals.
In the Women’s Individual Trampoline Final, Kalena Soehn delivered a strong performance securing 5th place with a final score of 51.175.
Men’s Trampoline
The Canadian Senior Men competed in individual qualifications on the first day of competition. Alexander Don led team Canada in 6th place with a score of 56.245 and earning himself a spot in the Individual Finals. Dexter Richard finished the qualifications in 21st with a score of 46.775.
In the Men’s Individual Trampoline Final, Alexander Don delivered another strong performance finishing in 6th with a final score of 55.850.
Women’s Synchro Trampoline
The Canadian Women’s Synchro Trampoline Team took part in the qualification round on the opening day of competition. Kalena Soehn and Gabriella Flynn delivered an outstanding performance, securing second place with a score of 44.900 and earning their place in the Synchro Trampoline Finals.
In the Women’s Synchro final, Kalena Soehn and Gabriella Flynn continued to shine, earning the Silver medal with a final score of 44.920.
Men’s Synchro Trampoline
The Canadian Men’s Synchro Pair competed in mixed synchro qualifications on the first day of competition. Alexander Don and Dexter Richard qualified for the Men’s Synchro Trampoline Final in 7th place.
In the Men’s Synchro Trampoline Final, Alexander Don and Dexter Richard finished in 5th place.
