OTTAWA, ON (December 3rd, 2024) – Gymnastics Canada is proud to participate in Giving Tuesday today, December 3, 2024, joining the global movement of generosity to celebrate our sport’s incredible legacy and inspire future generations.
This marks the first year Gymnastics Canada is taking part in this initiative, and we are thrilled to share two impactful ways to give back:
1. Donate Directly: Support one of two meaningful projects:
- Celebrate Our Legacy, Inspire the Future – Donations will help create stunning large-scale banners at the National Training Center in Montreal, honoring Gymnastics Canada’s historic achievements and inspiring today’s athletes.
- Advance Gymnastics Nationwide – Contributions will support projects aimed at fostering the growth and development of gymnastics across Canada.
Donations can be made here.
2. Shop for a Cause:
Purchase a GymCan x Chilly Moose 24oz Brunswick Bottle, engraved with the GymCan logo. For every bottle sold, $10 goes directly back to Gymnastics Canada to support the development of gymnastics programs and initiatives.
Bottles are available for purchase here.
Generous Matching Sponsors
We are thrilled to announce that two of our generous partners will be matching donations today! Spieth will match the first $1,000 in donations, and Gallagher will match the second $1,000. This means your donation can go even further in supporting the growth and celebration of gymnastics across Canada.
“Giving Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate gymnastics’ past, support the present, and build a strong foundation for the future,” said Andrew Price, CEO at Gymnastics Canada. “Your generosity today will help us create a lasting legacy that inspires athletes for generations to come. Thank you to everyone who supports us on this important day.”
Gymnastics Canada encourages Canadians to join this movement from December 3rd to December 31st and help strengthen the sport nationwide. Whether through a donation or a purposeful purchase, your support makes a difference.
