Canadian Juniors Earn Five Medals in Team and All-Around Events

Ottawa, ON (June 19, 2026) — Canada’s junior gymnasts delivered an impressive performance on June 18, earning five medals across the team and all-around competitions. The Canadian team secured silver medals in both the men’s and women’s team events, while adding three all-around medals through standout individual performances. 

Canada’s junior men’s team, comprised of Thomas Tittley, Jaydon De Silva, Édouard Nadeau, and Reuben Dykstra, captured the silver medal with a score of 220.761, finishing behind the United States (224.394) and ahead of Brazil (213.828). The Canadians continued their success in the individual all-around competition, where Thomas Tittley became the 2026 Junior Pan American All-Around Champion with a score of 75.498 and Jaydon De Silva captured the silver medal with 74.765, completing a Canadian one-two finish on the podium. 

The junior women’s team also enjoyed a strong outing, with Taya Macey, Nikita Théodat, Mackenzie Grant, and Marion Desjardins earning silver with a score of 147.030. The United States topped the standings with 153.264, while Brazil finished third with 141.931. Macey added to Canada’s medal haul in the individual all-around competition, capturing bronze in the junior all-around competition with a score of 49.366. 

Multiple junior athletes have qualified for individual apparatus finals.
