Ottawa, ON (August 20, 2025) – Team Canada celebrated a podium finish at the Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay, with the Junior Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team capturing bronze.
The women’s team of Samantha Couture, Coralie Demers, Stella Letendre, and Maryam Saber earned a score of 145.450, finishing 3rd behind the USA (1st) and Brazil (2nd).
In the all-around competition, Stella Letendre placed 5th with a score of 48.900, followed closely by Coralie Demers in 6th with 48.750. The Canadian women also secured several apparatus finals berths: on vault, Demers qualified in 4th while Letendre took 8th; on uneven bars, Maryam Saber advanced in 2nd and Letendre in 6th; on balance beam, Demers earned a 4th-place qualification; and on floor exercise, Letendre qualified 3rd with Demers as first reserve.

Meanwhile, the Junior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics team also impressed with a 5th place finish and a score of 216.550. The men’s team included Aiden Gonzalez, Keita Kuramoto, Parker Smith, and Thomas Tittley.
In the all-around competition, Thomas Tittley finished 5th with a score of 74.250, while teammate Aiden Gonzalez secured 8th with 72.600. Both athletes also advanced strongly into the apparatus finals. Tittley qualified 1st on floor exercise, 2nd on horizontal bar, and enters as a reserve on pommel horse (R2), rings (R3), and vault (R2). Gonzalez advanced to the parallel bars final in 8th place after the two-per-country rule, and also earned reserve positions on floor exercise (R2) and horizontal bar (R1).
