Reflecting on the experience, Theodore Chan shared, “It was such an incredible experience being the 1st ever Senior level Canadian Acrobatic Gymnasts to compete at the World Championships! We are very proud that we were able to make it to the dynamic finals, and walking across the stage being introduced as finalists felt amazing. We wished we had done better with our Balance Routine, but our nerves unfortunately got the better of us. Overall, we had a great time in Portugal, and we can’t wait for our next competition!”
We are incredibly proud of Theodore and Emerson who represented Canada making history for the first time at an Acrobatic World Championships. You both showed incredible determination and hard work to get to the world stage.
