June 25, 2025 | Events, News

OTTAWA, ON (June 25, 2025) – Gymnastics Canada is proud to announce the athletes who will represent Canada at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, taking place August 5–11, 2025.

Held every four years in the year following the Olympic Games, the World Games spotlight sports and disciplines not featured in the Olympic program. In gymnastics, the World Games include Synchronized Trampoline, Double Mini-Trampoline (DMT), Tumbling, Aerobic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, and Parkour.

Canada has a strong history of success at the World Games, with multiple podium finishes and top-ten results over the past decade. Notable achievements include a silver medal earned by the late Tamara O’Brien in Double Mini-Trampoline at the 2017 Games in Wrocław, Poland, as well as a silver medal by Corissa Boychuck in Double Mini-Trampoline and a bronze by Emily Smith in Tumbling at the 2013 Games in Cali, Colombia.

The 2025 World Games represent another key international assignment for Canada’s Trampoline and Double Mini-Trampoline teams. We look forward to seeing this talented group build on past success and proudly represent the country on one of sport’s most prestigious global stages.
