Ottawa, ON, October 1, 2025 – Gymnastics Canada (GymCan) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Headversity, a leading mental health training platform. This collaboration reflects GymCan’s ongoing commitment to supporting the mental wellness and personal development of gymnastics coaches across the country, from grassroots to high performance.

Through this partnership, all gymnastics coaches in Canada will receive free access to a Headversity license when registering for any NCCP courses. This initiative will provide coaches with practical tools to strengthen resilience, manage stress, and foster mental well-being in both their personal and professional lives.

“By partnering with Headversity, we are equipping our coaches with resources that go beyond technical training. supporting their overall well-being so they can thrive both inside and outside the gym”, said Denise Alivantov, Director of Sport Development at Gymnastics Canada. “Healthy, resilient coaches are the foundation of a positive sport environment, and this initiative reflects our belief that caring for the mental health of our leaders directly benefits the entire gymnastics community.”

Headversity offers personalized, skill-based training programs in resilience, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and stress management — all designed to help individuals meet everyday challenges while supporting long-term mental health.

In addition to the individual license, coaches will also have the option to share their access with up to five gymnasts aged 15 and over that they are coaching, further extending the benefits of this partnership into the gymnastics community.
