Ottawa, Ontario (October 6, 2025) – Canada’s Sophiane Méthot and Sarah Milette have done it again, claiming the top step of the podium at the FIG Trampoline World Cup in Antibes. With an impressive score of 50.230, the Canadian pair secured their second consecutive gold medal in just two weeks.
They were joined on the podium by Japan in second place and France, the home team, in third. Méthot and Milette were also crowned overall champions of the FIG Women’s Synchronized Trampoline World Cup series, receiving their season trophy in Antibes.
In the women’s individual final, Méthot added to her success by capturing the bronze medal with a score of 55.780, finishing behind Japan’s Yuka Misawa (gold) and New Zealand’s Madaline Davidson (silver).
This event marks the conclusion of an exciting World Cup season for Canada’s trampoline program.
Team Canada’s trampoline athletes now turn their focus to the upcoming Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, set to take place in Spain this November.
